What is a Sublative® RF treatment?

Sublative skin rejuvenation is a treatment that delivers bi-polar radio frequency energy in the form of a 64 dot matrix that penetrates beneath the top layer of skin in an array of multi-electrode pins. This stimulates collagen production by heating up the deeper layer of the dermis.  

 

Sublative is the only technology proven to reduce moderate to severe acne scars on all skin types. The Sublative RF applicator is designed to deliver radiofrequency energy to the skin in a fractional manner, via an array of multi-electrode pins. The array delivers bipolar RF (radio frequency) energy to the skin. With the Sublative applicator, microscopic zones of the epidermis and dermis are thermally treated in a grid-like pattern over the skin surface and non-ablated zones act as a reservoir of cells that contribute to rapid healing.

 

Typically, a treatment area like the face takes about 45 minutes, however, each client’s problem is unique, the time required for a Sublative rejuvenation treatment may vary. The Sublative RF treatment is both effective and safe.   This procedure is applicable for all skin types with minimal side effects, discomfort or downtime. Sublative technology is not a laser or IPL based system. 

 

Sublative RF is used to treat fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, crow's feet, smokers lines,  and skin texture irregularities caused by excessive sun exposure. Typically, the treatments are applied for three consecutive months followed by 1-2 additional treatments 3 and 6 months later. Results are best seen about 6 months after initiation of treatment as the collagen in the dermal layer remodels and fills in the indentations of the skin.
